About DON'T TELL ME HOW TO ART

Don’t Tell Me How to Art is a social-first vertical video series introducing audiences to the artists, performers and creative voices shaping today’s culture. Designed for mobile and digital platforms, each short-form episode takes viewers beyond the finished work to meet the person behind it. Through intimate artist profiles, studio visits, performances and candid conversations, the series explores what inspires artists, how their communities influence their work and what it takes to build a creative life. The vertical series begins in Miami, spotlighting the artists, neighborhoods and cultural influences that give the city its unmistakable creative identity. As the audience and community grow, Don’t Tell Me How to Art will expand into a longer-form documentary television series exploring art-forward cities across America.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to make art accessible, personal and alive—one artist and one story at a time.

Don’t Tell Me How to Art gives artists the opportunity to tell their own stories in their own voices. It connects audiences with the people behind the work while celebrating the communities where creativity thrives.

This is not a series that tells people what art should be.

It is a celebration of what art already is.
