Beth Bru is a Miami-based multidisciplinary artist and muralist whose vibrant work explores the intersection of regional identity, childhood nostalgia, and joy. Working across large-scale public murals, sculpture, studio painting, and interactive live art, Bru creates colorful visual environments designed to make art feel accessible, uplifting, and deeply connected to the communities around them.

Drawing inspiration from the hyper-saturated aesthetics of early-2000s animation, 1980s Miami design, neon signage, and commercial culture, Bru transforms familiar imagery into imaginative landscapes rooted in memory and place. Her visual language reflects an ongoing dialogue between two dramatically different environments: the artificial neon landscape of Las Vegas, where she grew up, and the tropical, coastal energy of Miami.

For Bru, creating joyful art is an intentional response to the weight and complexity of the world around her. Through bold color, playful forms, and nostalgic references, she explores how beauty, optimism, and shared experiences can create moments of connection and sanctuary within public spaces.

Her work has included public art commissions, exhibitions, and interactive projects with organizations including Miami Art in Public Places, Live Nation, Baptist Health, Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, and CBS News. She has also presented solo exhibitions in Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
